OTIS has contracted with qualified vendors to provide efficient, cost-effective local telephone services. Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) may include local telephone service to include 1FB, Direct Inward Dial (DID), Direct Outward Dial (DOD), combo trunks, tie lines, channelized and non-channelized T1 access circuits, ISDN – primary and basic rate, foreign exchange, off premises extensions, Centrex, and directory assistance. These services are secure, auditable, efficient, and effective, and improve the overall quality of the state’s day-to-day network infrastructure operations.
Customer organizations are urged to evaluate all the services from the vendors awarded contracts to find the best solution sets for their individual requirements.
